Fonte Luminosa: City-view hotel with metro at the doorstep in Lisbon
Amenities
Fonte Luminosa offers a 24-hour front desk that provides laundry, car rental, and luggage storage. The hotel is located in a tall building in central Lisbon, with views of the city and Parque Fonte Luminosa. Guests have access to a shared lounge/TV area and safety deposit boxes at the reception.
Accessibility
Air-conditioned rooms feature traditional wooden furniture and a TV, with some offering balconies overlooking the park. The hotel provides wheelchair-accessible rooms with emergency cords in the bathroom, raised toilets, and grab rails. Family rooms include sofa beds for children, and the building is equipped with an elevator.
Location
The hotel sits directly in front of the Alameda metro station, with the green and red lines providing direct access to Lisbon Portela Airport in 20 minutes. Downtown Lisbon is reachable in 10 minutes via metro, and nearby bus stops offer additional routes. Parks like Eduardo VII Park and the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum are within short distance.
Dining
A patisserie operates within the same building, serving local snacks and Pão de Açucar pastries. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but the patisserie downstairs provides morning options. Guests can also find a café and bar inside the adjacent Parque Fonte Luminosa.
Family & Business Convenience
Families benefit from sofa beds in rooms and child-friendly facilities like a 24-hour reception for late arrivals. Business travelers have access to fax/photocopying services and a quiet shared lounge. The hotel's close proximity to the airport and metro suits both leisure and corporate stays.

“This property's strongest asset is undoubtedly its location; the metro station practically at the doorstep makes navigating Lisbon, including trips to and from the airport, incredibly straightforward. Rooms are kept clean, and while basic, they provide essential comforts like air conditioning and well-appointed bathrooms, with beds consistently noted for their comfort. The adjacent café is a welcome addition for affordable and good quality breakfasts, and staff are generally helpful, even assisting with luggage after checkout.”
